It’s time to claim your Sovereignty.
Get the strategy, the tools, and the community to transition from "Invisible Expert" to "Sovereign Strategist." Because your IQ deserves to be owned by you.
The Reality Check
The AI Displacement: You think your expertise is untouchable? AI isn't coming for the labor; it's coming for the Cognition. If your value is just "knowing things" or "diagnosing patterns," you are a line item on an optimization spreadsheet.
The Layoff Lottery: We’re seeing "unprecedented" layoffs in Biotech, Big Tech, and Healthcare Systems. In a world of "lean operations," your 15 years of loyalty is a liability on a balance sheet, not a guarantee of safety.
Economic Instability: Inflation is eating your "high salary" for breakfast. A $250k–$500k income is just a Gilded Cage if you are one "restructuring" away from losing your only source of resources.
The Prestige Cycle: The STEM Gilded Cage
The Prestige Cycle," a psychological and professional trap where individuals in technical fields exchange their well-being for superficial academic rewards.
I used to chase prestige too…
When I finally put on that white coat, I was STOKED. I had done it. I was going to be the "Expert," save lives, and finally have the seat at the table I’d worked decades for. I thought the MD was my "Golden Ticket" to a life of impact and freedom.
But then, reality set in.
Within months of entering the system, the technicolor dream started to fade. I realized that the "Expert" role was actually just the "Engine" role. The system was Toxic—built on a culture of burnout that was disguised as "dedication."
Unpaid administrative labor that sucked the soul out of my day? Check. Hospital boards making decisions about my patients based on spreadsheets I wasn't allowed to see? Uh-huh. Being told I needed to "be a team player" (read: do more unpaid committee work) if I wanted to stay on the promotion track? Obviously.
Then, I DECIDED I NEEDED A CHANGE
Even with a "high salary," I didn't have enough Sovereignty in my bank account or my business model to walk away. I was highly cited but completely trapped. I had to watch my brilliant colleagues become shells of themselves, and keep showing up to the clinic with a "professional" smile while my own creativity was dying on the vine.
Could I get to the life I wanted by staying where I was?
Probably… eventually… maybe in 10-15 years I would make professor and then someone would notice my expertise and then maybe someone would ask me to speak. Then maybe I’d get noticed enough to ask to be a consultant for a company or I would get promoted to a leadership role.
That was a hell of a lot of “maybe’s” and I just wasn’t about to wait another 15 years on top of the 15 years of training to live that life.
My time for freedom was now.
So, I didn't just find an exit strategy; I built one. And now, I’m showing 1,000 other women in STEM how to do the exact same thing.
“If your brilliance is only rewarded with more work, you aren't an 'Expert.' You’re an Engine. It’s time to become the Driver.”
if your time for freedom is now… i’ve built a space for you
